Position 1: Hands Placed in the center of the handles, your INSTRUCTOR may instruct you to place one over top of the other on hills to feel the intensity of the ride. Its also a good place to be when warming up, recovering from a sprint interval.
Position 2: Although there are many styles of cycling bikes majority of them still have pretty much the same handle bar set up. In this position hands are just inside the upward curve on the handle bar, known as (second position)
Position 3: Hands Hold on the top of the handles, this position should only be used when standing up and never seated, it can put to much strain on the back as you are reaching when seated, therefore come out of the saddle when executing this move
