+ HOW DO I START?

Check our SCHEDULE for the class most convenient for you. Then sign up online to RESERVE your ride or call the studio. If you are new to indoor cycling, please arrive 15 minutes early so we can show you the "set-up" and the "basics". The resistance knob on each bike allows you to control the pedal speed. Start slowly and as you get more comfortable with technique, the challenge is in changing speed, resistance, and intensity.

+ DO I NEED TO SIGN ANYTHING BEFORE I START?

Before your first ride, you need to sign a waiver. If you are under 18, you need one signed by a parent IN PERSON. Please arrive at the studio 10-15 minutes before your ride, so we can give you a tour of the studio, assist you with any questions, and help adjust your bike.

+ Can I rent out the studio for a private event (birthdays, bridal parties, special occasions etc.)?

+ Do you offer discounts if I buy more than one class at a time?

Yes, we offer a per class system or provide you with Class Package options that are discounted based upon the Class Package you select. The more you ride, the more LOVE we show you!

+ HOW DO I SET UP MY BIKE?

Ameanspinn staff members and your instructor will be inside the bike room ready to help you get set up on your bike.

+ WHEN CAN I REGISTER FOR CLASS

Riders are always welcome to take a class without signing up in advance. Walk-ins are always welcome. However, without a reservation, we cannot guarantee that your preferred bike will be available. You can book your bike and classes for the week in studio, by phone, or through our website.

+ If I'm going to a class with friends, do we all need to book separately?

Yes, Each person will need to sign up for their first ride and complete a little information about yourself & sign the studio waiver. Once you have established an account, you may, of course, show your friend a little LOVE and purchase a class for her/him on his/her account.

+ SHOULD I EAT BEFORE MY RIDE/ CLASS?

Eating a light snack at least 1-2 hours before your ride will keep your blood sugar up and your energy strong!

+ I WALKED BY THE STUDIO, BUT YOU GUYS WERE CLOSED!

We are usually opened around our class times, which are offered 7 days a week Monday - Sunday, in the mornings, some afternoons, and evenings. View our weekly schedule, or give a buzz at 240-343.4897

+ WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?

We suggest rocking a muscle tee or tank top and form-fitting pants or shorts on the bottom. Avoid long, loose-fitting pants that risk being tangled in the bike. We require all riders to wear "SPD clip in" shoes that clip into the pedals for a smoother ride. Don't sweat it if you don't have them, in the meantime, we have a dual-sided pedal that has a cage on one side, and SPD-compatible clips on the other if you're wearing cycling shoes.

+ What DO I DO ONCE I ARRIVE?

If you reserved in advance, you can check-in at the front desk (required for all riders) or check in at our check-in kiosks, located in our main lobby area. It’s important to sign-in when you arrive. If you’re not signed in 5 minutes before class, your spot may be released to allow for walk-ins or riders on our waitlist or you may be mistaken as a "NO SHOW".

+ DO YOU PROVIDE REFUNDS?

We have a strict no-refund policy so be sure to only purchase classes or packages that you are sure you will use. We do offer account credits for rides that are cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy.

+ NO CELL PHONE POLICY

Out of consideration for your fellow STUDENTS, & the Instructor, We ask that all rider keep their phones in the cubbies. To limit distraction for your fellow students. (like the movies). Waiting for an important call? Worried there may be an emergency? OUR Front desk staff is happy to tend to your phone, and grab you from class if any designated number calls! We got your back.

+ ARE YOU HIRING?

+ DO YOU SELL WATER

Yes! No matter how much water you drink beforehand, you’re going to need more during class. We have a purified refilling station and also sell bottles of water for $3 at the front desk. At Ameanspinn, we strive to be as ecologically conscious as possible so encourage you to bring your own reusable bottle to help reduce our plastic bottle usage.

+ DO YOU OFFER A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP?

Ameanspinn offers a pay-as-you-go system month-to-month packages as well as memberships packages -- that way you're only purchasing classes that you actually use. If you're riding regularly, our larger series offer a price discount.

+ CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you cancel eight (8) hours before your class, there is no penalty! If your reservation is cancelled 8 hours before the class start time, the ride will be credited back to your account to use for another class. Unfortunately, if cancellation is not received 8 hours before the class start time, we will not be able to credit the ride back to your account. If you have an unlimited package, you will be charged $15 for a late cancel. If you are NOT an Unlimited package holder and late cancel, you will lose the class that held your reservation. Unlimited and regular package holders who do not show up to class will be subjected to a $22 NO SHOW FEE. We appreciate you understanding that we can't make exceptions to this policy. This series is nonrefundable unless a current signed and dated doctor’s note is provided showing a rider is unable to partake in class. Doctor's notes are not applicable retroactively to missed classes. All bookings must adhere to AMEANSPINN policies including those booked or purchased through a third party such as ClassPass, FitReserve, Groupon, Gilt, etc.

+ ARE YOU ON CLASSPASS AND GROUPON?

Yes, we are currently on ClassPass and Groupon!

+ DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS & OR OTHER AMENITIES?

Unfortunately, we do not have showers available. Our space has two large bathrooms 4 stalls each available for changing. We have plenty of cubbies for your use to store your stuff during class and while you change. Please note we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. We offer a free, water refill station, hair ties, ear plugs as well as fresh towels. Occasionally, fresh fruit. In addition, we sell water for ($3) and when in stock M&M Sea Moss Organic Smoothies ($7.50)

+ HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL CLASS?

The typical class consists of a 45-60 minute ride with cooling down and stretching. Some classes are 75-90 minutes and include some light weights in order to work your core and upper body. See our list of classes for full descriptions and class length.
